Trading Platform Setup
How you set up your trading screens will largely be a result of:
- Personal preference,
- What degree of customization your platform provides, and
- How many screens you have.
I operate with a dual monitor setup, but that is not necessary. One is sufficient. I just prefer LARGER charts showing lots of back data.
However you set it up, I recommend the following.
Your trading timeframe chart must be the primary point of focus. Make it the largest, and if possible central to your field of view.
Position it next to your DOM or Order Entry module ( I prefer to order from mobile phone which auto switch between data and Wi-Fi).
The following is a screen shot of my current setup, and a suggested single-screen setup, but please experiment to find the right setup for you.
